In the evening of the day of shipment you will receive a shipping confirmation via e-mail, containing a tracking link and your shipment number. You may track your shipment at all times by clicking onto the link or entering the tracking number on the website of the shipping company.

Please indicate the respective number of returned articles in the column "quantity". As we constantly strive to improve the quality of our product descriptions, we kindly ask you to provide the reason for return (e.g. "too small"). Further comments can be written down in the field "Comments". Finally, please enter the return date at the bottom of the form and sign the return form.
In case the return label is missing, we would kindly ask you to contact us via phone under 02182-6974400 or by e-mail to Please note that the return of goods from outside of Germany is not free of charge. You may send returns from abroad at your own expense with a shipping company of your choice.
As soon as your return has been received and checked, we will create a credit note and will refund the amount credited to the account your order was originally paid from. Unpaid invoices/positions of invoices will be cancelled.
Place the unworn shoe(s) in the original shoebox. Put the shoebox(es) into a carton of an appropriate size. Fill out hollow spaces. Enclose the filled out return form. Affix the return label (if provided). Should you use the carton in which you received your order, please make sure to remove old labels! Take your return to the nearest DHL collection point.
Please make sure the Packstation is signed in under your own name. Be sure to include your 8-digit post number and the 3-digit Packstation number. Deliveries to Packstationen are only possible up to a certain size, meaning the outer box must not exceed a maximum size of 60 x 35 x 35 cm.
Once you have placed the articles in your shopping cart, you can calculate the exact shipping costs under the item "Calculate shipping costs to" after selecting the country of delivery and entering the postal code of the city of delivery. A list of all shipping costs can be found here.
The purchase on account for Austria, the Netherlands and Finland is handled by Klarna GmbH. Payments with debt-discharging effect can therefore only be made to Klarna GmbH. Therefore, please transfer the invoice amount to the Klarna GmbH account stated on the invoice, stating the purpose of the payment.

An invoice purchase is only possible if invoice and delivery address are identical.

If you have a complaint regarding one of our articles, please submit your customer number and the order number in question. Please do not send the goods back. We request to send in damaged articles only in individual cases. Please send a maximum of 3 pictures that clearly show the damage and one picture that shows the whole shoe to the following e-mail address:

The general processing time of a complaint is 10 to 14 days.

If you would like to exchange an article, please simply place a new order and send back the articles, which you do not like/which do not fit. In case of payment via invoice, a new order with invoice payment will only be possible, if the maximum amount of 250 € is not exceeded.

To redeem a credit it is imperative that you log into your client account with your login data (email address and password) first. Your actual credit amount will be shown in your account. At the end of the ordering process (after choosing the payment method) you can redeem the credit by clicking onto the button "use credit".

shoe care

The Rieker-Tex membrane is a high quality technical material and has the function of protecting the shoe against ingress of moisture while at the same time delivering the heat created by your feet to the outside.

How waterproof a shoe with Tex membrane is can not be specified, since this depends on external influences such as the type of moisture (rain, drizzly weather, snow) and the length of time the shoe is exposed to moisture.

The membrane needs a resting phase (the night for example), which is approximately as long as the time the shoes has been worn, to regain the original texture. The Rieker-Tex membrane does not require any special care. However, the outer material has to be maintained, so that there are no tears or edges that could damage the membrane. Without adequate care, the upper material may become hard and brittle with time. The hardened crack lines may then rub on the membrane inside, which ultimately leads to permanent water permeability.

Shoes made out of faux leather are quite easy to maintain. You should free the shoes of dirt regularly (especially in the winter), by using a damp cloth. Please let the shoes dry properly after cleaning. Do not place the shoes on or in front of radiators or other heat sources, as this may result in damages to the shoes.

In our Rieker-Shop we recommend the following products: Bama Active Universal Care A46 and Bama Cleaner A78. If you use an impregnation spray, please make sure that the spray is suitable for faux leather - other sprays might cause staining.

Generally we do not recommend to wear orthopedic insoles in our shoes, as the statics of the shoe is changed by orthopedic insoles, which will lead to the termination of the warranty.

Many Rieker models are edge-sewn. Due to this type of design moisture may possibly penetrate through the seams, which is not a defect.
